Antique Oak Tudor Style Carved Joint Tavern Stool Hinged Lid Side Lamp Table

This sturdy and stable little piece is in a style which dates back over 400 years and was a seat used in schools and churches for centuries. I suspect this example is a 19. th century piece, but it could well be Georgian or earlier.
