Late 18th.c. High angled backrest featuring a lovely pointed ogee arch raised and fielded panel and shaped top rail. Shaped wings at the sides designed to protect the sitter from draughts. Rope seat and loose cushion with a square of Persian carpet to one side and course woven cloth on the other.
