For sale is this rare iron miniature safe that dates to the mid 1800's. Miniatures safes were often used for storing jewellery and money and are quite rare to find. The paint is chipped as per the picture but it has a working lock and key,, although I suspect the key not to be the original but it still locks and unlocks fine. The safe measures 22 cm width, 15 cm depth and 13 cm height.
