A beautiful antique silver plated hand engraved biscuit barrel or tea caddy, manufactured by the Mappin Bros of Regent street & London Bridge, clearly marked on the base. Approximately 7 inches long x 5.75 inches deep x 6.5 inches high, almost 1 kg in weight, an absolute eye catcher in good condition with some minor age related marks indentations and discolouration, expected signs of its age.
