A sloped antique mahogany stool or book rest. Research has shown they are used in churches as stools for organ and harmonium players but they are also suggested for use as a book stand/rest or kneeler for prayer. The curved design is arts and crafts in style. Condition: Nice patina, with surface wear commensurate with age and use. Whilst some screws have a smooth finish, some do not and have either lost the caps or have been replaced over the years. Some surface scratches and chips toward the base.
