Beautiful original Victorian toleware cash tin (circa 1890-1900). This is a classic "Japanned" metal box featuring a black lacquer finish with traditional gold gilt banding. It comes with its original removable internal tray which has three separate compartments for coins and small items. Features: Material: Heavy-duty steel/tin with a sturdy brass carrying handle. Interior: Includes the original lift-out divided tray. Condition: In lovely "distressed" antique condition. It has a wonderful authentic patina with some surface scratches and minor paint wear consistent with its age.
