Antique late 19th century camera tripod produced by Lancaster. Consisting of the three extending tripod legs and camera mounting top. For its age this tripod is I would say in good condition showing only wear commensurate with age and use. One brass fitting to leg has a historical repair (photo 6) and one shows a split to brass which has not opened up (photo 7) All the fitting are intact and work as they should. Closed measurement is 28inches and 54 inches extended. With camera mount top measuring 4.5 inches in diameter. All in all I would say this a good example of this Lancaster patent tripod having good patina to the wood and in overall good condition for age.
