Antique Japanese Solid Bronze Frog Figurine with chop marks to base

No idea of his age but we'd guess circa early 1920's to 1940's. Photos show the chop marks on the base in closeup. I don't think you can kiss him and turn him into a prince - but he's still pretty cute regardless!
