Antique Japanese Meiji Period Bronze Figure Of A Rat / Mouse. This fantastic Japanese bronze figure depicts a rat / mouse cast in exceptional detail. The piece has extremely fine individual hairs throughout and even has the underside of the rats feet exquisitely cast. The piece then dates to the meiji period. It appear to have been holding something at some point and does have some damage to the tail. It measures approximately: - 2” / 5cm Tall. - 3.75” / 9.5cm Wide. - 2” / 5cm Deep. - Weighs 317g.
