Antique Meiji Bronze elephant figure On Stand Signed. This lovely antique Meiji bronze depicts an elephant in a walking position. It is cast in a wonderful naturalistic detail and shows off the animal beautifully. It also comes complete with a lovely shaped stand which sets it off perfectly. I am unsure of the maker although the piece is also signed to the underside of the animal. It measures approximately: Elephant: - 5” / 15.25cm Wide. - 4.5” / 11.5cm Tall. - 3” / 7.5cm Deep. Stand: - 7” / 18cm Wide. - 4” / 10cm Deep.
