A superb antique heavily carved oak spinning chair, dating from the 19th century. The chair stands on four bobbin turned legs and is ornately decorated with hand carved Tudor roses, grapes, entwined scrolls and a cut out heart, all with a lovely dark oak patina. It measures 95cm high, the seat is 36.5cm high x 38cm deep x 29cm wide and it’s 37cm wide across the legs. It has some small surface marks and the legs are a little loose, all from age and use, otherwise all in genuine antique condition. This would look fabulous in any interior or ideal tv / film prop.
