An absolutely fabulous hand carved Dutch oak rack for coats, hats, scarves etc. The light oak has a sumptuous, rich, warm patina and is complimented by the French brass cherub hooks that boast a equally dazzling patina. The hooks are a young male cherub with stylised angel wings. The condition is outstanding for a piece of this age. Probably made around 1890 - 1900, this Flemish coat rack called on the very best materials from the surrounding area. The result of combining the Dutch oak, French brass, and master craftsmanship is this gorgeous antique piece. Simply Stunning ????
