The humidor is made from hand beaten copper. The base is made from 3mm thick copper which makes it extremely heavy. It has a tin coating inside designed to protect the tobacco from the copper. There are signs of green oxidation - more noticeable on the inside of the lid but also, more subtly, around the outside of the base. The rich brown patination and hints of green verdigris are highly sought after by copper collectors. It weighs almost 1.5kg. The lid has a diameter of 13.8cm and the base 11.3cm. The humidor is approximately 7.2cm tall including the domed lid.
