Antique Gorham Sterling Silver Floral Repousse Scent Perfume Bottle Holder 99.1g

From an estate. Inside is a bordered recessed area in the lid about 3/4" across and round in shape. Maybe it held the bottle in place. Maybe it held a cork?. Don't know for sure. A gold gilt color in the interior of this holder.
