Antique Gilt Metal Hand Mirror Pierced Handle Needlepoint Rose Back Edwardian

£28.77

Antique gilt metal hand mirror, circa 1890–1920. Cast brass-toned frame with dense foliate and scrollwork decoration, darkened in the recesses with natural age patination. Pierced teardrop handle terminal with floret and palmette motifs. The reverse features a circular panel housing a small needlepoint rose embroidery, now fragmentary, mounted behind silk gauze. Mirror glass to the front is clear and functional. Approximately 27–28cm in length. No maker’s mark visible. Shows age-appropriate wear throughout. The needlepoint is partial and fragile, sold as a decorative antique, not for use as a working mirror. Condition: Very good for age – see photos and description
