A late Georgian or early Victorian copper tea caddy box or kitchen storage jar dating to Circa 1820-50 and of English origin. Originally all silver plated most of this has been polished away leaving the solid copper visible in most places when on display. There is beaded decoration to both pieces and a straight joining seam to one side. It is about 3.5 inches high by 3.25 inches wide weighing roughly 0.17 kg unwrapped. Offered in good used antique condition free from holes,splits,large dents and repairs. There is a visible but fairly shallow "line" dent to the rear.
