An early 20th century mahogany veneered wooden fretwork framed mirror with ornate scrolling design, shell motif crest and elegant original bevelled edge mirror plate with gilt border. Most likely dating from around the Edwardian era when there was a revival of Georgian/Chippendale style. It is a lovely decorative piece. Condition: General surface wear and aged patina commensurate with age and use. One small repair to bottom right fretwork scroll, and one repair to top left fretwork scroll. surface crack to top stoll secure. Wear to gold/gilt edge.
