There are smaller fountain and chariot motifs around the rim - this is also known as the 'Triumphal Car' design. A very good looking and well made piece, it’s super rare to find one of these with the period bowl, usually, as is the case with this one, they are dropped and broken as these were daily used pieces and always had soap and water involved so they were knocked around a lot.
