A rare useful, cGeorgian era folding mahogany book stand easel. Possibly for travelling. The hinge is part of the whole. There is a lightly incised lion & unicorn crest, with the letter M in the centre. Approx: 21 cm high, 23.3 cm wide & 20 cm deep. Folded - 28 cm long, 1.6 cm deep. In good antique condition. Signs of age and used. Rubbed patina and small scratch marks. See photos.
