Lovely James Dixon and Sons cloche/meat dome. Some dents and imperfections - see photos. I don’t know if it’s pewter or silver plated. It has a small hanging hook and a detachable handle. Someone thought theirs might be 1880s to 1899 and their number on the dome inside was 409. This says 405. I am sorry I really don’t know much about it so this is all educated guesswork!
