I have recently been informed that this is an antique gentleman's suspender. It has foreign hallmarks on it but I am unsure of the country of origin. The hooks on the end of the chains have fish on them. Unfortunately I only have the one, although I believe it probably should have been a pair. Approx 17cm long when the fish are equal. Great conversation piece. approx 40 grams.
