This turns out to be an antique GBN (Gebruder Bing, Nurnberg) brass tea kettle made in Bavaria circa 1910. Along with the GBN BAVARIA official diamond logo to the base, it is also stamped 2L making it a rarer larger size variant for this compressed circular design.
