Gilding remains bright and attractive. The graceful form was originally part of a larger desk set but displays beautifully as a standalone decorative accessory. The underside bears a hand-painted “Made in France” mark above an interlaced L motif commonly associated with Sèvres-style porcelain produced for export during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
