A plaque with the title "Modestie" would originally have been attached to the plinth, you can see tiny pin holes. This elegant sculpture has classic late 19th / early 20th century styling. The plinth is scuffed and worn but I have left as is as I think it gives it a great aged look.This is an antique item, more than 100 years old.
