Based on the classic painting by Paul Thumann, this piece depicts two young children whispering near stone ruins. Neyret Frères utilized a highly complex Jacquard loom technique with up to 12 distinct shades of grey and black silk threads, achieving a flawless, photorealistic engraving effect.
