An antique large French Provincial walnut commode, dating from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1850–1900), with a mahogany crossbanded top above four drawers. The upper frieze drawer is fitted with a lock and opens using the key, while the three larger lower drawers are fitted with brass handles.
