An early 20th Century French oak wall shelf. Ornately carved with hanging game birds. A distinctive piece which would work would also work well in Gothic inspired interiors. Condition: General surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. Some small chips to edges and drill holes from wall mounting. Some small surface scratches lighter areas to wood from wear etc. Some very faint paint flecks on top. Due to the design the birds move slightly but are secure..
