66 cm/26 inch long, flattened cylinder shape. 19 cm/7 1/2 inches across. Two rows of holes along each long side. There is a pullout tray at one end with a brick of coal inside. The object is made of iron and is quite heavy. There is some rust but it will clean up really well. It seems to be a heater of some kind, to go in a car perhaps?
