A very good quality pewter Demi Litre lidded measuring jug made by the famous French metalware maker, Le Seigneur a Caen. The item weighs about 750 grams and sits 17 cm high, has a base diameter of 9 cm, a body diameter of 7.5 cm and a width including handle of 12 cm. The item is clearly marked on the base as 1856 as well as a clear ‘Demi Litre’ stamp to the front as well as crown marks. A number of touch marks are also clearly visible on the lid. The lid works well with no damage to the hinge. A nice collectible piece.
