A large French farmhouse prep table, 19th century. Pine plank top on a hand-hewn oak base, two generous drawers to the front, full-length lower shelf. 196cm long — serious scale. Works as a kitchen island, shop or studio display table, or entrance hall console. 76cm high, 81cm deep. Enough surface to work on, enough presence to anchor a room. The oak base carries the deep checked grain of pre-industrial French joinery — hand-hewn, not machined. The pine top is knotty, characterful, worn smooth by generations of use Dimensions: 196cm L × 81cm W × 76cm H Condition: Honest rural wear throughout. Structurally sound. Shrinkage gaps to top planks consistent with age. No active woodworm.
