Antique French(?) Cast Metal Chalice / Goblet, Cherub And Hare

The chalice has a small hole at the base of the bowl and through the stem. The bowl is profusely decorated in relief with a repeating pattern of a boy, possibly a cherub or Cupid, aiming a bow and arrow at a fleeing hare.
