Both pieces have damage and you can see multiple layers of paint over what was likely the original gilt finish. These were attached to a wood clock case, French in origin, more likely mid 1800s than later 1800s. I show the hand forged tack that was used to go through the angel’s knee and attach to the case. Note that piece is broken off and needs to be reattached. Also note the damage around the edges of the flowers. Please view all 24 photos for measurements and condition.
