Wonderful portable writing desk in bird's eye maple. Interior is richly grain painted in red and black to resemble rosewood. Lidded pen section. Contains two glass inkwells, one retaining a cork stopper, and a cylindrical wooden jar for drying sand, powder or charcoal.
