Likely French or Belgian in origin, dating to 18th century. Features a thick round seat with single tapered pedestal leg and beautifully weathered surface wear from age and use. Found in France. Condition consistent with age and use including surface wear, age cracks, discoloration, and long ago inactive woodworm holes that contribute to its authentic antique farmhouse character!
