The main pole is loose from the base (it has a threaded end so needs screwing into the base through the straw stuffed cushion). The felt cover is worn as to be expected from use and age. It was gifted to Hetty Clarke in the 1921 and is also engraved ‘a present from Ramsgate’. It is silver plated and measures 12cm high and 6.5cm wide.
