Antique Majolica Pitcher with Bird and Flowers 1888 This charming Majolica pitcher features flowers and leaves on both sides and a bird (perhaps a hummingbird) investigating a flower. Around the top is a Greek key design with a complimentary design at the bottom. On the base is the number 91174 preceded by R and like an upside down p??? Or Rd. The pitcher is more or less rectangular as you look down on it. The height is approximately 7 inches. The width across the top is 2.5 inches, and the distance of the opening along the spout is 4.5 inches. It is a beautiful piece.
