The front of the base has applied gilt bronze floral mounts. A further applied on the base of the oblisk is a winged serpent stick between two cornucopia. The sidepieces are candlesticks, set on a square but shaped Sienna marble base with ormolu moulding of stiff leaf and dart decoration rising to a further Sienna marble cube with applied ormolu laurel leaf mount.
