This hall marked trinket box dates from the Edwardian Art Nouveau era. The maker is Robert Chandler. The Art Nouveau shape still looks impressive, I have not seen one similar. Hall mark is R.C, anchor, lion and date letter k for Birmingham 1909. There are a few small dings at the corners, generally the bottom, but due to the shape these are not conspicuous in my opinion. The material inside is in good condition but the rope detail to the edge has come away at some parts. Please see photos. Approximately 10.5cm long by 6cm wide. The weight is 101g approximately. It feels a good weight.
