Antique early 19th century transfer-printed tea bowl with attractive hand-coloured floral decoration and classical figures. The bowl features a scalloped rim with ochre edging, floral border and monochrome classical scene, typical of English pearlware/earthenware from the first half of the 19th century. Approximate diameter: 8.5cm. Condition is fair antique condition with age-related wear. There are several chips around the rim, glaze crazing and general wear from use, as shown in the photographs. A lovely decorative piece for collectors of early English pottery, transferware or antique tea wares. Also selling other antique and vintage items and happy to combine postage. Thanks for looking!
This product would be a great fit for collectors of fine art antiques.
