This is an original needlework piece from the early 19th Century, Georgian Era. The piece incorporates wool-work threading on silk material, incorporating a combination of embroidered elements and hand-painted silk details. 69cm length/59cm height. An English mourning scene, housed in a simple black frame. The piece is in good condition overall with most threading still intact, with some signs of ripping on the delicate silk material, as expected with age.
