This Georgian c1780 Copper Brewery / Wine funnel was formed in the hand made traditional way by hammering into shape and joining the sections of metal with a dovetailed or seamed brass brazed join to the side of the body and around the base. The lip is curled over an iron rod for strength, with the spout being riveted to the body. It is in an excellent condition for the age of this piece and it incorporates an hanging ring to the lip. Its weight is a respectable 1 Kilo. The diameter is 8 1/2" and the total height is 8 3/4" with the spout being 4 1/4" in length. Terrific as a display piece in your kitchen or suitable for a wine merchants, wine cellar, wine bar or pub.
