Antique copper ale warmer, iron handle, dovetailed, folded tip, 18th century?

It has a riveted iron handle, a dovetailed seam, folded tip and rolled top edge. I think the inside is silvered but it's quite blackened and I can see a few streaks of copper showing through. Handle length 21cm / 8.1/4".
