Such an unusual and nicely made afghan. The entire center is a broad pattern floral needlepoint, the outside fringe is made of yarn. The reverse is backed with a vibrant yellow silk cloth. The coverlet is perfect for a table cover or piano type shawl, it can also be used to drape the back of a sofa. A neat antique hand made piece, can't say I ever had one like this before!
