Ancient military transport crate dating back to the early 20th century. Made of solid fir wood with hinges and wrought iron reinforcement elements. The chest is enamelled in green, on the lid and on the sides there are various labels testifying to the many journeys that this chest must have faced in its history. Many labels bear the words fragile or very fragile and inside, written in pencil on the lid, is the list of a Ginori porcelain service, probably the last contents transported by the case. The trunk is in good condition, it has never been restored and comes to us in conservative conditions therefore small defects are compatible with the age and wear of the object which are demonstrated by the photos, an integral part of the description. FOR ANY QUESTIONS DO NOT HESITATE TO.
