Large late 19th.c. Flat shelf with a raised gallery to the back and sides above five slim drawers and an open centre over the main desk work surface (height 30½"). Matching carved foliate detail to the drawer fronts top and bottom, carved mouldings and side panels and a fine pair of spiral twist columns flanking the base.
