Antique wrought iron fire bar roaster dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. Hand-forged construction with an adjustable three-pronged roasting fork mounted above a slatted base. Designed for use in an open hearth or fireplace for roasting meat over the fire. The fork slides and adjusts to alter the distance from the heat source.
