A beautiful antique cast Bronze tazza, with a pierced Neoclassical design depicting Neptune and his consort Salacia with Nereids riding dolphins. It is raised on a knopped stem, mounted on a sloping square base, which has a decorative design and is raised on four bracket feet. It measures 8 3/8" or 213 mm wide x 6 1/4" or 158 mm high. It has a impressed mark on the inside of its base, which is undecipherable. It dates to the Victorian period and is in good condition, showing good small details to its casting. Please see photos
