Antique Aubusson Verdure Tapestry is 57 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches wide. The subject matter is birds near a fountain in a lush garden area. This describes Verdure tapestry. My searches all indicated Aubusson for France as origination point. The colors are subtle but clear. There are no stains. On the back are silky strips of open-ended fabric used to run a pole through and then hang on a wall. There are tears in the strips of fabric but both still look useable for their intended purpose. Very good antique condition!
