Antique Arts and Craft style cast iron box which would have originally been used for storing spices. It has a distinctive scalloped edge to the lid with a round knob for lifting and engraved zig zag and cross design around the sides of the box. Aged patina to metal. Would make a nice rustic display piece. Circa early 1900s. Sourced in Belgium. Approx height 12cm, appprox width 12cm.
