Beautiful and rare antique art nouveau brass umbrella/cane stand circa 1895, featuring high relief classical female figures. It is unmarked but most of these were made in France, Germany, Belgium and Austria. This substantial piece weighs 11 pounds and has a cylindrical form with a rolled rim and floral rosette border. It measuring 23” high with a diameter of 11.25” and has a rich original patina. It is in good antique condition for it age with a few dings at the bottom that actually aren’t that noticeable and definitely don’t detract from this striking piece.
